Welcome. Therapy can be a space to explore your inner world, gain understanding of your personal history and the ways you move through the world, make some connections, build on your strengths and be a space where you can learn and practice new strategies. Therapy is a collaborative process & partnership. Perhaps you are here because life is feeling overwhelming, isolating, inadequate or you are feeling stuck in a cycle and have the desire to make changes. If you are seeking support around grief and loss, my hope is to help create a validating and supportive space that meets you where you are at in your own unique grief experience.

If you are interested in scheduling a consultation time to see if we would be a good fit, please contact me at saranoone@saranoone.com

I currently only have daytime appointments available. All sessions are telehealth appointments.

Sara Noone, LICSW

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts, with over 20 years of experience working with people of different ages and backgrounds who have been experiencing the following-

  • life transitions

  • grief & loss

  • feeling overwhelmed by life or feeling stuck

  • anxiety & depression

  • family stressors

  • parenting stress & feeling overwhelmed

  • relationship challenges

  • trauma

My practice currently focuses on individual therapy with adults and young adults via telehealth. My therapeutic work is eclectic and blends a variety of treatment modalities including -psychodynamic, relational, Internal Family Systems (IFS, Level 1 Trained), mindfulness, CBT and I incorporate different grief theories and practices. I am a grief-informed practitioner and have completed multiple professional trainings, as well as a Grief Care Certificate program.

I have been in private practice since 2012 and my previous experience includes several years of working in community mental health (outpatient & in-home work) and as a school counselor.

In addition to bringing my professional experiences, I also bring my lived experience of grief & loss, as well as my warmth, humor, natural curiosity and interest into the therapeutic relationship. My hope is that the therapeutic space can be a safe space for growth, validation, integration and healing.

  • Initial Session (Intake) $200

  • Individual Therapy Sessions (45-50 minutes): $175

I currently accept most Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) plans. Please check with BCBS to verify your eligibility and confirm your insurance benefits, including deductible and copayment information.

Out of Network: If you have another type of insurance that includes “out of network” benefits, please contact your insurance for more information and also inquire about a deductible. I will provide you with a monthly “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance. Sessions must be paid to the provider at the time of the service.

Private Pay: Using insurance benefits requires a diagnosis. For a variety of reasons, some people opt to not use their insurance and pay directly for services.

Payment, including copays is due at the time of the session. I use IvyPay, which is a HIPPA compliant payment platform.
